Question:51 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education if he will give details of the up-to-date information in relation to the provision of a regional sports centre in Athlone, County Westmeath.

Proposals for the design, construction, part-financing and operation of the Athlone regional sports centre have been received and are presently under consideration by my Department in consultation with the local authority.
