Vol. 419 No. 2

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Michael Noonan

Question:

83 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of an outstanding amount in respect of a beef premium grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

This person has been paid full premium on 26 animals under the 1991 special beef premium scheme already.

He applied for premium on 34 animals under the 1990 special beef premium scheme. As he did not maintain three of these animals for two months from the date of application as required and sold 20 others without submitting their identity cards to my Department for checking, punching and stamping he could only be paid premium at 80 per cent on the remaining 11 animals.
