All aspects of the organisation of the General Medical Services Scheme will be considered in the course of the current review discussions with the Irish Medical Organisation and the Irish College of General Practitioners. The feasibility of establishing innovative pilot schemes such as budget holding for general practitioners, will be discussed as part of the review.
