Question:

149 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his cattle headage and suckler cow grants.

This applicant's 1991 Cattle Headage and Suckler Cow Premium Schemes grants are being processed at present and payments will issue shortly. He has been paid his 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme grant already.

150 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his sheep headage grant.

The Sheep Headage grant in this case was paid on 29 November 1991.

151 Mr. Sheehan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive payment of his beef premium scheme and equine grants for four mares.

This applicant's 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme grant is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

He is not eligible for grants under the Equines Headage Scheme as his lands are not situated in a disadvantaged area.

152 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in issuing a suckler cow grant payment to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

This applicant has been paid his grant under the 1990 Suckler Cow Premium Scheme for small-scale milk producers already. There was no particular delay in making the payment.

His grant under the 1991 Suckler Cow Premium Scheme for small-scale milk producers is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly.

153 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when compensation for reactor animals will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick as it is urgently required to alleviate a cash flow problem.

The reactor grants due to the person named will be paid within the next few weeks.

154 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in the 1991 payment of cattle headage to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if arrangements can now be made to pay same without further delay.

This applicants' 1991 Cattle Headage Scheme grant is being processed at present and payment will issue shortly. Pressure of work in the local office has contributed to the delay in making this payment.

155 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a cattle headage payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

This applicant's 1991 Cattle Headage and Suckler Cow Premium Schemes grants are being processed at present and payments will issue shortly.
