126 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for the Environment if he discussed the need for funding for completion of the Fonthill Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, at any meetings of the Inter-departmental Task Force for the Neilstown area established by the Minister for Justice last autumn or if he made a submission to the task force outlining the importance of this road for the building of the town centre; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Requirements in relation to the Fonthill Road and other roads in the Neilstown area are among the matters which have come up for consideration at meetings of the Inter-departmental Task Force established by the Minister for Justice and on which my Department, Dublin County Council and Dublin Corporation are represented. When the Task Force issues its report, consideration will be given to the provision of grants towards the cost of implementing any recommendations relating to road improvements.
