Question:47 Dr. Lee asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the financial allocation for the Department of Health's budget for the years between 1988 and 1992 for cardiac rehabilitation services in the Eastern Health Board area.
Written Answers. - Cardiac Rehabilitation Services Funding.
Cardiac rehabilitation services are provided in a number of hospitals in the Eastern Health Board area. Financial data specific to such services is not routinely identified in hospitals' accounts and is therefore not available to me in the format requested by the Deputy. I am making arrangements to have an assessment made of the current level of expenditure involved in the provision of such services and I will communicate with the Deputy in due course.
