Vol. 420 No. 6

Written Answers. - Dublin Dental Services.

Ivor Callely

Question:

141 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health if he will outline the effect which the proposed new Dublin Dental Hospital will have on the unacceptably long waiting lists for dental and orthodontic treatment in the Dublin area.

The existing Dublin Dental Hospital provides a substantial level of service to dental patients with eligibility under the Health Acts. The question of increasing this level of service for patients from the Dublin area in the proposed new hospital would be a matter for discussion and agreement between my Department, the hospital authorities and the Eastern Health Board.
