Question:

72 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for Justice if, in respect of each year since 1986, he will outline (a) the annual cost of the scheme of compensation for personal injuries criminally inflicted on members of the Garda Síochána, (b) a breakdown of these amounts between, on the one hand, compensation for costs incurred by claimants including loss of earnings and medical costs, and on the other hand compensation for pain and suffering and (c) the number of claims made each year since 1986 under this scheme.
