68 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Labour if he will outline the number and type of EC Directives that are operable under his Department; if Ireland adheres to all such directives; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The EC Directives which relate to the sphere of operations of my Department and which have already been implemented in Irish Law are listed below:

A further 30 Directives, of which details were provided in my reply to Dáil Question No. 163 of 27 May 1992, have yet to be transposed into national legislation. It is my Department's intention to comply in full with our European Community obligations in relation to all EC Directives.
