Question:148 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Education when a contract will be awarded for the provision of a new primary school at Kellawalla, Westport, County Mayo; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Tenders for the proposed project referred to by the Deputy were received on 22 May 1992 and are being examined. Funding for this project has been included in the 1992 Capital Programme for National Schools. Pending the outcome of the examination of the tenders, it is not possible to say when a contract will be placed.
