Question:

116 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for Education if he will provide funds for seminars and courses to voluntary bodies dealing with the disabled to assist in developing the communications skills of disabled persons; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I will give sympathetic consideration within available resources to applications from voluntary bodies to organise inservice training courses for teachers and other professionals aimed at developing the communication skills of disabled persons.
