Question:

112 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will now pay headage grants due to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim which have been cleared by the local office of his Department for payment.

This applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1991 cattle and equines headage and special beef premium schemes. He did not apply for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme.

113 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will now pay the balance of headage grants due to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim which have been cleared by the local officer of his Department.

Further investigation is necessary before a decision can be made as to the eligibility of the person named for grants under the Disadvantaged Area Schemes.

114 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will review an application for a special beef premium having regard to the circumstances involved in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

This applicant has already been paid his grant under the 1991 special beef premium scheme.

115 Mr. Cotter asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm grant payment will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
