32 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if she will outline the implications, if any, for Aer Lingus as a shareholder in a company (details supplied) of the recent decision not to proceed with the flotation of the company; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The Deputy will, I am sure, appreciate that this is an issue which is of a commercially very sensitive nature. It would not, therefore, be appropriate for me to disclose any financial details related to the implications for Aer Lingus of the decision by the company concerned not to proceed with the flotation.
