Vol. 422 No. 1

Written Answers. - Lucan (Dublin) Orthodontic Patient.

Austin Currie

Question:

67 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) in Lucan, County Dublin, who is in need of orthodontic treatment, will not be treated in the Lucan dental clinic despite the fact that she has been attending there since she was five years old and had ongoing orthodontic problems before she left primary school; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As the provision of orthodontic treatment in Dublin is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board in the first instance, I have referred this case to the Chief Executive Officer of the Eastern Health Board for his immediate attention and direct reply to the Deputy.
