208 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for Education whether a financial sanction for the proposed building of a new community school in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim, will be announced; if so, when; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As already notified to concerned interests, the provision of a new community school for Carrick-on-Shannon has been approved and architectural planning is proceeding.
