280 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Health the number of cot deaths (sudden infant deaths) recorded in Ireland in each of the past three years.

Sudden Infant Deaths are coded 798 under the World Health Organisation's International Classification of Diseases (9th revision) which is currently in use.
