Vol. 423 No. 1
332 Miss Flaherty asked the Minister for the Environment when his Department proposes to introduce a new housing sales scheme for local authority tenants.
334 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the plans, if any, he has for the introduction of a new tenant purchase scheme.
370 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if, in view of the fact that it is now four and a half years since the last tenant purchase scheme, he will now, without further delay, give permission for a new tenant purchase scheme.
374 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if he will confirm that a new housing sales scheme for local authority tenants, such as a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12, will now go ahead; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 332, 334, 370 and 374 together.
The introduction of a new tenant purchase scheme is under active consideration. I expect to be in a position to make an announcement in the matter before the end of the year.
