The Government hope to make an announcement on this matter shortly.
The President of the Law Reform Commission left that position in April of this year. May I ask the Taoiseach why it has taken so long to come to a decision to replace him?
I will be in a position to announce the appointment very shortly. It does not interfere in any way with the work; the commission continue their work as normal.
