Question:

141 Mr. G. Reynolds asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a group water scheme (details supplied) in County Leitrim which was passed and sanctioned in June, 1991, has not proceeded in any way since that date; and if it will commence in the near future.

The design for this scheme was approved by Leitrim County Council in September 1992. Tenders are now being examined in my Department but it is not possible to indicate when a decision may be made.
