139 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education if he has received submissions on the matter of the adequacy of grants towards the running and maintenance costs of primary schools; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I have not received specific submissions regarding the adequacy of the running and maintenance costs of primary schools, other than the proposals contained in the report of the Primary Review Body.
As announced in the Green Paper on Education for a Changing World the funding of primary schools is currently under examination.
