Vol. 425 No. 7

Written Answers. - Departmental Appointments.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

420 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number and names of persons other than those in the permanent Civil Service, who have been appointed to positions in his Department or other agencies within the ambit of his Department, including Offices of Ministers of State, since the formation of the Government; if he will give details in each case of their job description and conditions of employment, terms of employment, their rank and salary or allowances; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Approval has been given for three appointments of the kind described by the Deputy, namely,

Mr. Paul Mulhern, Programme Partnership Manager.

Mr. Richard Humphreys, Special Adviser.

Ms. Margaret Dowling, Personal Assistant.

Contracts setting out the salaries and conditions of employment attached to these appointments are expected to be settled soon by the Minister for Finance.
