Vol. 426 No. 5

Written Answers. - EC Structural Funding Application.

Peter Barry

Question:

140 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the submission by Cork Corporation for post 1993 structural funding of the total cost of £320.6 million for the measures proposed of which £91 million must be raised in this country; if he will subvent the corporation to carry through the proposals; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The submissions made by the south west and other sub-regional review committees are now being considered by the Minister for Finance in the context of the preparation of the National Development Plan for EC structural fund support post - 1993.
