276 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if any provision has been made in the 1993 Estimates for the State to take extra equity in Aer Lingus; if so, the amount which has been provided; if not, the way in which extra equity for Aer Lingus will be included in the Government's expenditure plans for 1993.

The report of the Aer Lingus Board on proposals to address the financial problems of the company was furnished to me on Friday, 12 February 1993.

As stated in response to a similar Question on 16 February 1993, the plan is currently being assessed by my Department.
