Question:80 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in paying a school furniture grant to St. Michael's national school, Castletown, County Westmeath; and when payment will be made.
Written Answers. - School Furniture Grant Delay.
While my Department gave the school authorities permission to invite tenders for the provision of school furniture in 1991, there is no record of the consequent request from the school authorities for the payment of the grant. My Department will contact the school authorities in the matter.
