Vol. 427 No. 6

Written Answers. - Government Appointments.

Jim Higgins

Question:

54 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Taoiseach the number of people who are members of Fianna Fáil or the Labour Party appointed by him and the Minister(s) of State at his Department since assuming office; and the position held by each of these people in the relevant political party.

All advisory or constituency appointees to my Department for the duration of the Government were chosen essentially for their experience and ability. The question of any political affiliation is their own business.
