Question:72 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Finance if the partnership programme managers are appointed on a pilot basis; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Deputy is no doubt aware that the Partnership Programme for Government sets out an agenda to be implemented by the partners in Government over a four year time scale. The partnership programme managers have been provided to facilitate the effective implementation of that agenda within departments and inter-departmentally during the life of the Government.
