157 Mr. R. Bruton and Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment the statutory arrangements he proposes to make for the County Enterprise Boards; and if these bodies will have any powers requiring legal or statutory underpinning.
I would refer the Deputies to my replies to parliamentary questions on 18 February last in connection with county enterprise partnership boards.
The proposals for the boards are under review at present; no final decisions have yet been taken about their powers and whether such powers should be founded in statute or not.
