Question:

182 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a suckler cow premium payment for 1991 will be approved for a person (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the fact that he was seriously ill at the time and was not able to retain the stock for the appropriate period.

Further investigation is necessary in this case before a decision can be made as to whether or not 1991 Suckler Cow Premium Scheme grants can be paid to the person named.
