Question:

207 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform the number of persons employed in his constituency office and his private office; the rank of each person; and the salary paid.

There are five persons employed in my constituency office and seven in my private office, all of whom are civil servants. Details of the grades and salary scales are as follows:

The Private Secretary receives an allowance of £5,497 per annum and the Clerical Assistant Typists receive a word processor allowance of £14.52 per week.
