Question:459 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Health when he will sanction the appointment of two psychiatric nurses to the Western Health Board.

The Western Health Board have applied to my Department to fill three replacement registered psychiatric nursing posts in the West Galway psychiatric services on a permanent basis. These, along with a number of other posts applied for by the board, have recently been approved by my Department.
