461 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Health the countries recently visited by him in connection with St. Patrick's Day celebrations; the countries visited by the Minister of State in his Department; the composition of the official party; and the total cost to the Exchequer in each case.

I visited Chicago last week, accompanied by my Private Secretary, for the purpose of meeting business people together with representatives of the IDA, visiting a health facility, meeting health officials and meeting Irish groups in the area. The total cost of the trip was £6,740.
