500 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the official student capacity of each of the State-funded universities, each of the Dublin Institute of Technology colleges and each of the regional technical colleges and the number of full-time/part-time students in each for the 1992-1993 college year.
Provisional student numbers for 1992-93 are shown in the following schedules.
The capacity of the institutions to cater for the increasing numbers of students is kept under continuous review. Substantial investment has taken place to date and is continuing to increase this capacity and further enhancement of the capacity will be an important aspect of the Department's approach to the new round of EC structural funds.
