Question:172 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice the number of convictions for house burglaries which were obtained in the Dublin area in 1992; and if she will give comparative figures for 1972, 1977, 1982 and 1987.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the information sought by the Deputy is not readily available and could be obtained only by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda time and resources.
