Social Welfare Bill, 1993: Allocation of Time.

I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in Standing Orders, in the case of the Third, Fourth and Fifth Stages of the Social Welfare Bill, 1993, which shall be taken today, the proceedings thereon, if not previously concluded, shall be brought to a conclusion in accordance with the following timetable—

Proceedings

To conclude not later than

Sections 1 to 13

12 noon

Section 14

1 p.m.

Sections 15 to 21

2 p.m.

Sections 22 to 52,

Schedules A, B, C and D and the Title

2.30 p.m.

Fourth and Fifth Stages

5 p.m.

and where proceedings have not concluded by the stated time, they shall be brought to a conclusion at the stated time by one Question, which shall be put from the Chair, and which shall, in relation to amendments, include only amendments set down or accepted by the Minister for Social Welfare.
