Vol. 428 No. 3

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Paul Bradford

Question:

76 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be paid a suckler cow grant; and the amount due to her.

My Department is unable to trace any 1992 suckler cow premium scheme application from the person named. Her June 1992 special beef premium scheme application was rejected because she was debarred from the special beef premium scheme for 12 months from 2 October 1991 on account of an irregular claim in 1991. Her December 1992 special beef premium scheme application will be processed in due course.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order a payable order for £632.70 will issue shortly.
