88 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Health the approximate cost of the implementation of the recommendation of the Second Commission on the Status of Women that health boards should be obliged, as well as empowered, to provide comprehensive home help service.
The recommendation referred to by the Deputy is currently under consideration by my Department along with the other recommendations of the Second Commission on the Status of Women relating to health matters. It is not possible, at this stage, to provide the Deputy with details of the costs of implementing this recommendation.
