Vol. 428 No. 3

Written Answers. - School Grants Payment.

Edward Nealon

Question:

106 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for Education when the balance of grants to Clohogue national school, Castle-baldwin, County Sligo will be paid in view of the fact that the school was promised at least two thirds of the cost of fitting new windows but only £1,126 was paid in September 1992 out of a total cost of £2,250 and that further moneys are due for the fitting carpets.

I am glad to inform the Deputy that the balance of the grant due for the replacement of the windows will be paid within a few weeks.
