Question:

206 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Health when a person (details supplied) in County Limerick will be called for heart surgery to the Cork Regional Hospital in view of her deteriorating heart condition; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The patient in question is not on the waiting list for cardiac surgery. She is attending a cardiologist in Cork Regional Hospital, who is in regular contact with the patient's general practitioner about her condition.
