Vol. 428 No. 5

Written Answers. - Monaghan Town Garda Station.

Rory O'Hanlon

Question:

79 Mr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance the proposals, if any, he has for the future of the old Garda station in Monaghan town; and when a decision will be made and implemented.

The old Garda station in Monaghan town has been retained by the Commissioners of Public Works with a view to its refurbishment as accommodation for Government Departments. Briefs of accommodation requirements have been sought from the relevant Departments to enable the drawing up of detailed proposals for the requisite adaptation works.
