Vol. 429 No. 3

Written Answers. - Waste Disposal Effects.

Noel Ahern

Question:

238 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Health if he will make a statement on the effects of Dunsink tiphead on Cappagh Hospital; if he will seek their comments from the hospital authorities on the effects of the tiphead on the operation and environment of the hospital.

The operation of Dunsink tiphead is the responsibility of Dublin County Council. I am aware that the hospital is in correspondence with the council with a view to eliminating problems caused by the proximity of the tiphead to the hospital. Pending the outcome of this correspondence, I do not think it would be helpful to make any further comment at this stage.
