Question:

54 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Health the number of disabled persons maintenance allowance applications received by the health boards for counties Kildare, Wicklow, Dublin, Meath, Carlow, Kilkenny and Westmeath in the year 1992; the number granted; the number still under consideration; the number refused; the total number of recipients of disabled person's maintenance allowance in each county at present; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Payment of disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. The attached table sets out the information requested by the Deputy.
