Question:

153 Mr. McGinley asked the Minister for the Environment if an application has been received towards the financing of the Lismintan/Ballymagroarty group water scheme in County Donegal; if so, the date the application was received; when funding will be allocated so that work can commence on the project; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

No grant application has yet been received by my Department for this scheme which, I understand, is at an early stage of development.

Question:

154 Mr. Nealon asked the Minister for the Environment when it is intended to provide the necessary funding for the upgrading of the Castlebaldwin group water scheme in County Sligo; the funds to be made available; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department is awaiting clearance from Sligo County Council of the design proposed for this group scheme. When this is received the application will be further progressed.
