275 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will give details of the firms which have been retained by State-sponsored bodies in his Departmental area and that of his Minister of State for market research, advertising, public relations and marketing purposes; the projects, if any, which are being carried out by each of these firms; the fees or retainers, if any, which are being paid for each of these projects; the duration of the contract for each project; if all services were secured through tendering; and if he will give details of the tendering procedures.

Ní bhíonn baint díreach agam leis an gcaoi a dheileálann na hEagrais Stáit atá faoi scáth mo Roinne lena gcuid gnó ó lá go lá.

Faoi treoirlínte a eisíodh anuraidh ar threoir ón Rialtas is gnáthnós imeachta i gcomhlachtaí Stáit é tairiscintí iomaíochta a lorg do sheirbhísí den chinéal a luaitear sa Cheist. Is gnó do na comhlachtaí Stáit féin an nós imeachta sin a leanúint. Ní mór do Chathaoirleacha na gcomhlachtaí sin, ina dtuarascálacha bliantúla dom, a dheimhniú gur comhlíonadh na nósanna imeachta tairisceana de réir na dtreoirlínte sin.
