320 Mr. B. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education if she will accede to a request to make a vocational education committee grant available to a person (details supplied) in County Cork through the auspices of Cork County vocational education committee.
I understand from County Cork vocational education committee, which is responsible for the administration of the ESF Maintenance Grants Scheme, in this case, that the person in question has been deemed ineligible for a student maintenance grant on the basis that family reckonable income exceeded the limits prescribed in the scheme.
