111 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Justice whether tenders for the new Garda Headquarters in Castlebar, County Mayo have yet been examined; if building works will commence during 1993; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Tenders have been received by the Office of Public Works for the Castlebar project and are currently under consideration by that office. It is not possible to say, at this stage, when a contract will be awarded.
