Bruton asked the Minister for Justice if it is proposed to implement the findings of the report of the Committee on Court Practice and Procedure which recommends a system of attachment of earnings and deduction from State grants in cases where convicted persons are able but unwilling to pay the fines imposed by the District Court; and when the legislation in question is likely to be introduced.
