Vol. 430 No. 3

Written Answers. - Aghacashla (Kerry) School.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

67 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if she will ensure that maintenance work will be carried out at Aghacashla national school, Camp, County Kerry, in view of the fact that her Department took over responsibilities in relation to maintenance of the school from the Office of Public Works in 1988.

As the Deputy is aware, my Department has taken over responsibility for the maintenance of what are commonly referred to as Office of Public Works schools. My Department is making arrangements for the continued maintenance of these schools, and the needs of Aghacashla national school will be addressed in this context.
