Mitchell asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 who has suffered prolonged and apparently permanent damage to his health because of the prescribing of incorrect drugs; whether there is any fund available from which compensation can be paid in cases like this; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
