Vol. 430 No. 5

Written Answers. - Access to Physiotherapy.

Pat Cox

Question:

183 Mr. Cox asked the Minister for Health the reason a person (details supplied) has no regular access to physiotherapy; if this person can be given physiotherapy at another Cork hospital or if this person can be given physiotherapy at St. Finbarr's by a physiotherapist from another Cork hospital.

The provision of physiotherapy in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Southern Health Board with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
