187 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the reason for the failure by her Department to send requested examination papers from previous years to schools which requested them in connection with the senior certificate examination.

The past examination papers in question were issued to the school concerned in the last few days.

The delay occurred because of seasonal pressure of work on my Department's Exams Branch.
